All remaining Gopher GOLD and guest card balances will be fully refunded after the fall semester ends, and users can continue to use their balances normally until then.

At the start of the Spring 2027 semester, it will be replaced by U Card Pay, which will initially be accepted at campus printing locations and departmental labs. 

The new account will charge purchases directly to student accounts instead of requiring pre-loaded funds.
